Proofs

The clerical staff at the SEO can initiate a proof inspection of the site mentioned in the permit. e-Permit allows the clerical staff to fill in the proof form after the completion of proof inspection. Though the details gathered during the proof inspection can be entered, e-Permit currently makes it mandatory to scan and upload the hard copies of the proof form filled in by the proof inspector along with the signatures.  This can be done from the documents section.

Typically a Surface Water Clerk and Ground Water Technician can create a proof after all required notices have been received and accepted for the purposes of adjudicating the water right.  Superintendents may create or modify proof forms for there respective water divisions. The Superintendent then assigns the for field inspection to the hydrographer or to himself.

NOTES:

These are the four types of proof forms available on e-Permit:

  1. Ground Water Proof
  2. Ditch Proof
  3. Reservoir Proof

  4. Pit Proof
