Maps and Plans

IMPORTANT:  Maps and Plans are to be filled only when Co-ordinates for all points of diversion and reservoirs are required. If a dam is to be built, co-ordinates should be provided to the point where the outlet pipe intersects the center line of the dam.

 

To Fill Maps and Plans:

NOTE: Total Capacity = Area at HWLxDm/3.

NOTE: Inactive Capacity = Area at elevation of outlet x D1 /3.

NOTE: Active Capacity = Total Capacity-Inactive Capacity.

NOTE: Measure length as a straight line (at HWL) from the dam to the most remote point.

NOTE: Measure width at HWL along dam.

NOTE: Average Depth = Total Capacity/Area at HWL.

     Note: Accepted must be equal to or later than the 'Submitted' date, unless the 'Submitted' date is in blank.

Note: Adjudicated must be equal to or later than the 'Submitted' and 'Accepted' dates, unless they are in      blank. Error messages will be provided if these rules are violated.

 

 

IMPORTANT: You will be required to complete and mail a Form SW3-A or upload the form with a location map, plan view of the dam site, and a profile of the dam site. You can copy the provided Location Map, Details of Dam Sketch, Capacity, and Body of Reservoir questions/answers into your Form SW3-A.

 

To Fill Plan View and Profile:

 

You have the option to enter the pit capacity in any one of the following ways.
 

Note: The calculations will be provided by the applicant in the Area/Plan View and Profile drawing, i.e., an Area/Capacity Table.

Note: If you selected Computed by e-permit, System will calculate capacity based on inputs.
